After a lifetime of service to others, who helps the elderly when they need a hand to take care of themselves at home?

About Download a Brochure St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton is proud to partner with Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck, a fellow trusted resource for community elders and their families. Together, we are dedicated to providing a wealth of life care management services to help our beloved parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles live independently. By supporting the whole person in terms of body, mind, soul and environment, we assist better living for elders so that they can enjoy a rich and healthy life—as themselves and as they choose—in the comfort of their own homes. The ABLE program is your one-stop source for information and elder-care resources. Working together, we can assess your needs and help coordinate a wide variety of essential services for caregivers and the elderly alike in a confidential manner.

The ABLE program is led by an Advisory Council consisting of representatives and staff from Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The council represents current leaders from the Council of Catholic Women, Befrienders, the Eucharistic Ministry and other parish committees. We are also blessed to be joined by a graduate student from Bethel University. She is seeking her Master’s Degree in Gerontology and has selected this program as the focus of her thesis!
